Mobile Mod for OsTicket 1.7

This is the page for you if you are using osticket 1.7

Just released version 1.1.0 of osticketmobilemod for version 1.7

It is still in beta.  If you purchase, there will be bugs.  I am pretty good about fixing them, but you have to let me know.

It has some limits and differences from the 1.6 mod: (this list is not extensive, only what I have found)

  1. Canned responses do not work.
  2. It has no admin panel.
  3. The ticket thread and notes have been put in the same thread.
  4. Uploads dont work.

http://newhelpdesk.thefakemiked.com will take you to the website.  If you are on a desktop computer, it will take you to the main site.  If you are on a mobile browser, it will take you to the mobile site.  Login to the technician side here. user:testuser pw:testuser

If you would like me to help you install it for you, I would be happy to for the 1-2 hour service fee.  If you have questions or need advice on mobile web development, feel free to send me an email at miked@thefakemiked.com

I would like to give you 3 reasons why you should donate a measly $30 for access to this.

  • It took me approx 30 hours to create.  The amount of time that you would spend to create your own is more valuable than $30.  Unless of course you are unemployed and have plenty time.
  • Why not?

There is no warranty, expressed or implied with this modification.  You can see that it works on my sample site.

Windows Phone 7.5 will not login. Cookies enabled. When I login URL changes to ../dashboard.php and the login page appears again.

  2. Is this still being developed? My mobile seems to show the standard osticket layout :S

I’m very interested in this mod, specifically for iOS based devices, but have to have the ability to use canned replies, is this planned to be added? Or is it simply not possible due to the iOS’s restrictions?

I don’t think it would be ios restricted because canned replies are generated by a php script. I just started working on the 1.7.3 update yesterday. Canned replies seems like it shouldn’t be that hard. Ill look into it.

    Hey Mike,
first off, love the mod. I purchased last year for 1.6 and worked great. If I upgrade to os ticket 1.7 do I need to pay full price for the the new version? no big deal as you do not ask a lot of money, just had to ask the question.
    Thanks.

  5. v says:
